The Edgecrusher never looks away from the pinball machine, the score somehow in the negatives.

EC: How do you get to Carnegie Hall? 

Tommy shrugs.

EC: Me either.

CLACK! The ball, seemingly taking its cue, drains.

EC: That one didn't count. Machine cheated.

He slaps the side of the machine.

EC: They're getting smarter.

He continues draining ball after ball in rapid succession. The score plummets deeper into the negatives until the display begins to flicker. Smoke bellows from the back of the cabinet as the score rolls under, wraps around, and suddenly jumps into the positives. It plays a victorious jingle and displays...

NEW HIGH SCORE

Tommy's previous score wiped away the Edgecrusher smiles.

EC: Told ya it cheated. 

The machine gives out one final high pitched death moan and shuts down completely.

EC: Well, that was fun. GOODBYE!

The Edgecrusher turns and leaves the room.
