Hello XWF!

As we draw the year to a close we'd like to say thank you to everyone. This year we've gone through some pretty hefty changes with Thad Duke stepping away from management, a site shift, and trying to navigate the frustrating space of AI in our little game. It's amazing to be here at the end of 2025 with such a great roster that I'd be willing to stack up against anyone.

It's now time to celebrate you, the roster that has never slowed down!

Below are some possible picks for End of Year awards. As with last year, staff are going to be choosing the winners, but we want to hear from you to help us see what the roster thinks and make sure we don't overlook things.

Please look at the list below and choose who you think is most deserving, this can be done in a reply to this thread or by DMing staff. Atticus Gold is the man to send everything to, but any staff member will get your thoughts where they need to go. Write-ins are very much allowed and encouraged, especially for Promo of the Year where the list below is Jan-Nov RPotM nominations, but something else might have stood out for you!

Have at it, folks, and once again, thank you for another amazing year. 26 years and counting!

Also if you wish to add a vote on whose the most handsome member of staff, I won't mind. (Wink)

Also commenting here so it's easier for people to DM me in case they wish to have their votes not out in public.

Wrestler of the Year
Who has had the most dominant/impressive year. Strong title reigns, excellent promos, winner of big matches and superb storylines.

“Allegedly” Micheal Graves

It’s pretty simple. On top of establishing himself as the longest reigning singles champion in XWF history, the guy didn’t lose a single match all year. Two draws with Kieran and Dolly. Outside of that it was utter domination.

Team of the Year
Which team has had a good run, shown excellent collaboration with strong promos, title reigns and big match wins.

This was quite the year for odd-bedfellow tag teams. Dyson/Waters, SEB/King were both a lot of fun

But Borden and Roger were my favorite.

Match of the Year

Charlie Nickles vs. Dolly Waters - Leap of Faith

My only vote that’ll have myself attached to it. Carlie’s work was phenomenal and the match-writer here (Liam/mav/scoops) delivered an absolute classic.

Promo of the Year
What promo had it all? Amazing character development, well-crafted story, biting trash talk.

Scoops McGee - “Scoops McGee in… “Hopes and Dreams”

Genuinely my favorite read that I can recall in 2025

PPV of the Year
What PPV had the best matches, segments, shocks and vibe.

Snow Holds Barred

Set the stage for an amazing year.

Event of the Year

Spooky Savage 2025 (AKA Spooky SAWvage)

It never fails.

Storyline of the Year
What story or rivalry captured your interest the most over the course of the year?

The rise of the Black Rainbow. At one time the entire Fed was on their heels, watching with bated breath as this group seemed to be in a position to take over XWF.

Little Helper Award
An OOC award for non-staff who have helped the fed with matches, promotion, etc. We couldn't do this without you!

Madison Dyson

OOC helped out more than any non-staff member with match writing.

Big Beginning of the Year
Merging two categories from last year - who came into the fed and left a mark, be it from a debut, or a return?

Scoops McGee

Incredible wins, competitive as heck all year, consistently immersed in/around carrying storylines on both brands.

Moment of the Year
What was the biggest shock, return or surprise of the year?

Tie

Kieran King wins consecutive King of the XWF tournaments

Unheard of!

Charlie Nickles finally winning the Universal Title

You did it! And you damn-well deserve it!

The Trillionaires X-clusive Lifetime Achievement Award Prime (Joke award)
Who has earned this most prestigious award?

The XWF as a whole for having four or five kings at the same time

Tge amount of patience to deal with one monarch, let alone 4 or 5? The whole XWF roster/staff deserves an award here.

W

Wrestler of the Year
Who has had the most dominant/impressive year. Strong title reigns, excellent promos, winner of big matches and superb storylines.

“Allegedly” Michael Graves. Completely dominant for a solid year with the main Anarchy championship in a genre of efedding that most find too challenging (micro word count rping). Defeated or fought to a draw against some absolute god-mode beasts. He never lost the title, mind you; he had to vacate it.

Team of the Year
Which team has had a good run, shown excellent collaboration with strong promos, title reigns and big match wins.

Them No Good Bastards (Thunder Knuckles and Bobby Bourbon)

Match of the Year
Most memorable match that had strong RPs behind it and was excellently written.

Charlie Nickles vs. Dolly Waters - Leap of Faith

Promo of the Year

Aurora - “A6S 009 - Kill The Kid”

Wrestler of the Year
Who has had the most dominant/impressive year. Strong title reigns, excellent promos, winner of big matches and superb storylines.

Kieran King

NOTES: This one is so, so difficiult. But I have to throw it to the guy who won hos royal stripes twice in a row and spent the better part of the year in some of the XWF's biggest storylines. All the while cutting amazing promos. A very close second would be Allegedly Michael Graves, for his sheer dominantion with the Anarchy title all year.

Team of the Year
Which team has had a good run, shown excellent collaboration with strong promos, title reigns and big match wins.

Madison Dyson & Dolly Waters

NOTES: Dilly might be too humble to vote for our team but I'm not, lol. I am so, so proud of the work we did as defending tag team champions this year and the fact that I got to do it with a person I consider a friend is just the icing on the cake.

Match of the Year

War Games Finals

NOTES: This shit was pure cinema. The drama! The intrigue! For the first time ever watching a War Games team implode and a new Universal Champion rising out of the wreckage. One for the record books. Truly.

Promo of the Year

Team XWF (Charlie Nickles, SEB, Isaiah King, & Solomon Kline) - “Team XWF Presents: The Four Corners”

NOTES: Obviously there was a mountain of great work this year and it's not all represented by this list. But of this list I'm picking the collaboration piece. Good collaboration is so, so hard. Especially when you're trying to get so many moving pieces to gel together.

PPV of the Year
What PPV had the best matches, segments, shocks and vibe.
War Games

NOTES: Again, I'm not sure anything gripped me as hard as that War Games final did. Not to mention the fact that for the first time ever we took the unprecedented move of having every title on the line in the War Games match itself. A cool event already that just raised the stakes even higher.

Event of the Year
What Warfare/Anarchy/Madness special event had the best theme, match-ups and vibes.

Spooky Savage 2025 (AKA Spooky SAWvage)

NOTES: I'm a sucker for a good Halloween theme and this one did it for me.

Storyline of the Year
What story or rivalry captured your interest the most over the course of the year?
Kieran King vs Everyone

NOTES: Kieran took on the world this year and (mostly) suceeded.

Little Helper Award
An OOC award for non-staff who have helped the fed with matches, promotion, etc. We couldn't do this without you!

John Black

NOTES: This is purely a staff pick and on a personal note I really don't think I did THAT much, so we'll give it to John Black.

Big Beginning of the Year
Merging two categories from last year - who came into the fed and left a mark, be it from a debut, or a return?

Scoops McGee

NOTES: Just a fun character all around who's been with us the majority of the year, captained his first War Games team (and won!), and has been involved in some solid matches.

Moment of the Year

Dolly Waters finally winning the Universal Title

NOTES: There is literally only one event on this list that was NINE YEARS IN THE MAKING and it's DOLLY FUCKING WATERS winning the Universal Championship. Enough said.

The Trillionaires X-clusive Lifetime Achievement Award Prime (Joke award)

NOTES: That time the Trillionaires formed a Human Centipede and the one in front got really bad diarrhea that caused a chain reaction of runny shits down the line.

Wrestler of the Year: Kieran King won back-to-back King of the XWF and the Universal championship and went undefeated for a while. My vote goes to him.

Team of the Year:
So many good options but I have to give the nod to The Exiles. Winning the tag titles twice and getting so much story out of all of it.

Match of the Year:
Dolly vs. Charlie vs. Kieran. The culmination of so many stories and Kieran finally winning the Uni again.

Promo of the year:
Aurora - Kill the Kid. Aurora had so many great promos and I think she could have won the Uni given the chance. I’m honored to be part of the nominees. The Team XWF RP was so fun to write.

PPV of the year:
I have to go with Relentless. So many big changes and it was perfectly chaotic.

Event of the year:
Spooky SAWvage. Honorable mentions Sons of Anarchy and May Day!

Storyline of the year: I have to echo Dolly here and go with the Rise of the Black Rainbow. It was everywhere and they were dominating. So many interesting characters interacting in this one.

Little Helper:
I don’t know too much about behind the scenes stuff, but given the options listed I have to say Madison Dyson did a ton to keep this place running and gets my vote.

Best Beginning: This is the only place I’ll be selfish and say me. I showed up almost exactly a year ago, won the X-Treme title twice and consistently made myself part of both shows. If not me, then definitely Dickie Watson. Culminating with the universal title win and having won the X-Treme title and Television title also and sole survivor of War Games….yeah, nevermind. My vote goes to Dickie.

Moment of the year: I’d also give it to Dolly finally winning the Universal title.

Trillionaires lifetime achievement award:
Kieran and his spite.

Thanks to everyone here for making my 2025 so much less shitty.
